Emily Craig – Legal Assistant

Emily Craig grew up in East Carroll Parish and attended Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. She earned her Bachelor of Criminal Justice, with minors in both Sociology and Psychology, in 1986. She is also a Kappa Delta sorority alumni. Emily came to Shreveport via Hurricane Katrina, and decided to make it home. She has one daughter who graduated from Byrd High School, and one son who graduated from Caddo Magnet High School.

Emily’s professional background in law may be one of the most diverse in our office – she has served as Facility Director over a community corrections facility in Ft. Worth, Texas, where she assisted federal, state, and county inmates in transitioning back into the community following incarceration.  She has also held the position of Director of Correctional Services over six pre-release correctional facilities in Texas, and later worked as the Non-Residential Contract Manager of the Dallas County Juvenile Department, with over-site of 50+ community programs that worked with troubled youth. Emily also assisted many government offices with obtaining grants for community-based program operations including Dallas area police departments, school systems, and non-profit agencies.

Emily has been a Legal Assistant with our firm since late 2007. She is committed to help others to overcome the mistakes of their pasts, and firmly believes that everyone should be given the opportunity to become positive members of their community and society.

    Blanca McGee – Office Manager

As the Office Manager, Blanca is the person who will assist you with any questions or concerns you have about our fees, cost  or billing. As the firm’s Bookkeeper and Office Manager Blanca’s daily goal is to establish a comfortable and efficient work environment for our staff and to provide a professional office experience for our clients.
